Reeling in the year: 2023 at Occu

2023 has been a phenomenal year of growth for Occu. We brought 520 houses and apartments to the market. Our total of 1,630 houses and apartments are now home to almost 4,000 residents.

At Occu, we believe that renting should be better; and we have worked hard in 2023 to bring our residents the best: smarter, benefit focused and centred around what they really need: certainty, next-level service, and a place our residents can confidently call “home”.

Our sincere thank you for a truly great experience the whole application process throughout, being so accommodating and making it a both neat and what felt like a very trustworthy and transparent experience for us as customers.

 

Some highlights this year have been:

• Being shortlisted for Asset Management Company of the Year at the 2023 National Property Awards
• Launching Occu East Village, our newest location and our first location with in-house Property Management
• Completing the lease up of Occu Brookwood and Occu Adamstown
• Expanding our locations with on-site Resident Experience teams to Adamstown and East Village
• Publishing our Occu Application Guide and our Affordability Calculator on the Occu website

Occu’s growth has been made possible by its dynamic and ever-growing team of resident-centric individuals. This year, Occu has welcomed 21 new employees to the company across all our teams. We look forward to welcoming more to our growing company in 2024 and beyond.

Occu is looking forward to further growth in 2024 as we continue to create renting experiences that are enjoyable and support our residents’ lifestyles without defining or hindering them. In early 2024, we will bring a new location to the market in Dublin 17, while two more locations are scheduled for completion in mid to late 2024.

In the meantime, the entire team at Occu would like to wish our residents (current, past and future), our clients, our suppliers, and their families a very Merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year.

Our leasing office will close at midday on Friday, 22 December 2023 and reopen on Tuesday, 2 January 2024.

Resident Experience

Christmas Opening hours will apply at our Resident Experience offices from Friday 22, December 2023. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, 2 January 2024.

Property Management (inside your home)

• East Village: Occu’s property management team will finish at midday on Friday, 22 December 2023 and reopen on Tuesday, 2 January 2024. Only urgent maintenance will be dealt with during this time. Circulars will be sent to all residents with full details on out of hours procedures.

Block Management (internal and external communal areas)

• Gandon: Please contact Petra Property Management directly for further information on Christmas arrangements.
• Station Manor: Please contact Anderson Property Management directly for further information on Christmas arrangements.
• Abbot: Benchmark Property will close on Thursday, 21 December 2023 and reopen on Tuesday, 2 January 2024. During this time, the emergency line will be operating 24/7. The emergency line deals with common areas and services.
• All other locations: Wyse Property Management will close on Friday, 22 December 2023 and reopen on Tuesday, 2 January 2024. During the holiday season the 24-hour emergency service will be available. Please note the emergency service contact number is 01 809 4444. The emergency service deals with common areas and services. The emergency service provided by this office will only respond to matters of a very serious nature.
